The Brand: Moulin Roty is a small communal village in western France near Nantes. It was founded in 1972 by a community of friends looking to create and sustain a more rewarding and healthier lifestyle. They started small by creating art and craft in an old mill building that was in ruins. Their first products were a small wooden toy car and a series of rag dolls. In modern times, Moulin Roty toys have become synonymous with imagination, magic and love—they are constantly creating new universes. Moulin Roty toys are made with non-toxic high quality materials and are created to be passed down and treasured.
Description: Created by Paris-based artist and designer Lucille Michieli, the Après la Pluie (After the Rain) characters embody sweet little creatures who have come to take shelter in the bedroom after a walk in the forest. Inspired by childhood memories and her affinity for Japanese drawings, Lucille gives children beautiful dream-like playmates. Giboulée is dressed in a soft cotton outfit with a jingly soft necklace around her neck. She wears soft wings (linen on top and soft fleece on bottom) and is ready for any adventure. All of the Moulin Roty friends help their imaginations run wild!
