Handmade Paper Heart Card
The Brand: Oblation Papers & Press was founded in Oregon in 1989. Husband-and-wife team, Jennifer and Ron Rich, have been dedicated since the beginning to connecting people to handmade papers from around the globe, as well as papers that they make in their own Portland shop space. They use their two antique chandler & price clamshell presses and two heidelberg windmill presses to print all of the cards and notebooks in their special line of offerings.
Description: Description: There is something really special about the Oblation paper itself. Each sheet is drawn from a vat of water and pulp produced with remnants from the garment industry. You will find wonderful irregularities in the cards themselves, slight differences in thickness, color, texture. The colors are very similar but the pink has that subtle tonal change which makes it perhaps a little bit sweeter than the natural. Absolutely charming!
