The Brand: Elemense is a collaboration between Nippon Kodo (an incense company dating to the 16th century Japan), and Takuhiro Shinomoto (a creative designer in Los Angeles and director of Hasami Porcelain). Brought to life in the United States in 2018, the project hopes to offer new ways of enjoying fragrances in one’s home, helping to bring tranquility and peace.
Description: We of course love these. Though made of ceramic, these look and feel just like the stones we find along the shores of coastal Maine, and have a lovely presence resting on a surface. These can be used as an incense holder or as a scent diffuser. Simply place your favorite stick of incense in the hole, or flip over and sprinkle a few droplets of a favorite essential oil scent onto it. As the oil seeps in, the fragrance starts to slowly disperse. Available in 2 shapes - Egg Shape with a color gradient, or Round. Each stone is one of a kind and unique, just like in nature.
Details: Measures roughly 3 inches x 3 inches. Grey and white ceramic. Arrives in gift box. Made in Japan.
