The Illustrator/Writer: Artist, Laurent Moreau studied illustration before setting up his shared studio space in Strasbourg. His work is playful and bright—full of life. He says, “For personal projects or for commissioned works, I always start by looking at my sketchbooks. Inside, I try to find some sources for ideas. Then, I start to make some small roughs before finalising with paints or others tools. I’m a methodical planner who would like to be more spontaneous!”
Description: “On a clear spring morning, a hunter makes his way into the forest. Careful, careful! Who will he catch? Quick, put on your masks and go hide.” This fanciful book contains 9 beautiful animal masks. A great game to bring to a runaround party. We love that the animals outsmart the hunter in this tale (keeping him on his toes!), and in the end say to him, “Goodbye hunter and don’t you dare come back!”
