Paperchain
The Brand: Cambridge Imprint is a design partnership of painter Claerwen James, textile artist Jane Powell and ceramicist Ali Murphy based in Cambridge, UK. Using simple hand-stenciled screen-printing to create their original designs, and then printed with hand-mixed vegetable oil-based inks on a lithographic press in a cooperative in London, the result is a matte paper of unparalleled intensity and clarity of color. Their aim is to preserve the crucial quality of improvisation in their work, and to maintain an environment where happy accidents can occur.
Description: 32 feet of beautiful paperchain - enough to fill a few rooms! The assembly of the chain makes for a wonderful activity to share with loved ones. Simply tear along the perforated lines, and stick the ends with glue, tape, or staples. We love that these are double sided as well! Made in England from 90 gsm matte, uncoated responsibly sourced paper, printed with vegetable oil-based ink in hand-mixed colors. The entire product is fully biodegradable and recyclable.
Details: 150 strips of double-sided patterned paper, contained in a self-closing card wallet. Each strip measures 1” wide and 8” in length. Package envelope measures 6” wide and 8 1/2” length. Makes about 32 feet of paperchain.
A Note From Erika: These are meditative to put together. I recommend leaving them up all year, they will definitely brighten your day.
