spiral watercolor notebook
The Brand: Japanese company Midori Shokai Co. was established in 1950—Midori means green in Japanese. The company launched with letter paper, notebooks and sketchbooks. They added other paper products throughout the following decades and started launching products outside of paper in the 90’s. All of their goods, many award-winning, come from their own factories where things are carefully managed and all details are looked after. As Midori turned 70 years-old in 2020, they celebrated the fact that their products have been a part of so many people’s lives for so long: “The memo pad someone keeps in their shirt pocket, the diary where someone pours out their joys and worries, the set of matching stationery someone splurged on …” Midori has stood the test of time.
Description: We always get excited when we see Midori launching new products. The Traveler’s Company notebooks were released in 2006 and have gained worldwide attention. All of the products in this line focus on the concept that there is actually a lot of traveling taking place in one’s daily life and you need a place to take note! Interior papers are blank, smooth and specific for watercolor (though takes very well to pen and pencil). It pairs perfectly in size with our Supereditions Watercolor Set, as they stack wonderfully together.
Details: 20 sheets (40 pages), 5 x 8 1/2 inches, heavy flexible kraft cover, spiral bound, blank paper
A Note From Erika: Love working on this paper. It’s thick and smoother than a lot of watercolor papers. Also a versatile size that can be used vertically or horizontally with ease.
