The Brand: Based in Newbury, MA, ceramic artist Leslie Scanlon focuses on simple strong forms and surfaces. All hand built from porcelain, white stoneware or black clay slab and each one of a kind. The pieces can stand alone, or in groups that relate and respond to one another through their textures and patterns.
Description: Stripes and dots - forever favorites. We’ve added some new patterns this round and they are becoming fast favorites as well. Our shelves are lined with Leslie’s pieces, adding lovely texture and compelling layers to our space. They are so wonderful to pair, to mix and match, or to keep as a playful centerpiece at one’s table. These vases are made with white stoneware and glazed and drawn by hand. All but the plus sign vase use a wax resist technique that gives them amazing details.
